Application Terms
Please carefully read and agree to the Application Terms before applying for the SAKURA Final Event (hereafter "the Event") organized by the Japan Automobile Research Institute (hereafter "JARI"). By applying, you are deemed as having agreed to the Terms.

[Application Precautions]
- Feature phones cannot be used to apply.
- Each person planning to attend must apply on their own. Only the person who has applied will be allowed in the venue.
- Each person is only allowed to apply once during the application period.
- To the extent possible, we ask that you refrain from canceling after applying for the Event.
- JARI may post photos on our own media, including social media, for Event promotional and PR purposes. By applying, you consent to allow us to do so.
- Technical cookies required for operation are used on the entry form. These cookies are necessary for providing services such as applications procedures and stable communications and are not used for advertisements or tracking by third parties.
[Event Information]
・Applicants will receive an email at the end of February 2026 containing event information and a reception ID for entering the venue. Please adjust your email settings so that you can receive messages from info@sakura-final-event.com.
- A reception ID for entering the venue will be sent to each person once only. Note that the ID will not be resent.
- The ID is required to enter the venue, so make sure that you have it with you.
- We ask that attendees who consent to do so present one business card when checking in at reception.
[Precautions]
- Providing personal information designated by the event organizer is a condition of participation. For details on information to be provided, the purpose of use, etc., visit the SAKURA Final Event website.
- JARI accepts no responsibility whatsoever for the following situations. We appreciate your understanding.
- Cases where the event organizer refuses applicant entry or determines that they must leave due to health reasons, etc.
- Cases where the applicant suffers damages due to being ejected from the venue to avoid the risk of infections due to crowding
- JARI may change, cancel, or end the event for various reasons.
- In the following circumstances, JARI reserves the right to modify the Application Terms and will notify the public of changes in advance and the date they will become effective via the internet or other appropriate means.
- When changes to the Application Terms conform to the general interest of the applicants.
- When changes to the Application Terms do not violate the Terms before they are changed, when changes are reasonable in light of the necessity of the changes, the appropriateness of the content after changes, and other circumstances related to changes.
- Other items not established in the Application Terms shall be determined by JARI.
- Applicants must comply with the secretariat's event operation policy and shall not file any objections whatsoever.
- All intellectual property rights including the copyrights, trademark rights, and design rights of the content posted on the Event site, such as photos, company logos, images, videos, text, music, etc., belong to the management or the legitimate rights holder from whom the management has obtained permission. Unless otherwise authorized by the management, duplication, reuse, reprinting, electromagnetic processing, transmission, distribution, transfer, lending, secondary use, and other similar acts pertaining to contents on this site are forbidden.
- Although there are no restrictions on taking photos, recording videos, or making social media posts during the event, we ask that you do so in accordance with the conditions stipulated by the management.
- The organizer and media may bring cameras to the event.
- As noted in the Application Terms, the portraits of those appearing in the photos may be used. If you do not consent to the above, please refrain from applying.
- Each participant must arrange their own transportation. There is no facility parking for those coming by private car. Please either use a nearby paid parking lot or public transportation.
- Each applicant is responsible for transportation costs to the venue and accommodation costs. JARI will not reimburse applicants for such costs even if the Event is canceled or changed. Thank you for understanding.
- If it is impossible to proceed with the Event due to accidents, disasters, or inclement weather, it may be canceled on the same day (including canceling after the start time). Transportation costs, etc., will not be provided even in such cases.
- Note that JARI may refuse entry to any persons we deem to be unwell or unsuitable for participation.
- Participants must keep out of all unauthorized areas.
[Prohibited Matters]
The following acts are prohibited when applying for the Event. JARI reserves the right to bar applicants determined to have engaged in the following actions:
(1) Acts in violation of the Application Terms
(2) Acts in violation of laws or regulations, acts that disturb public order, or acts that could lead to such violations
(3) Criminal acts or acts linked to fraudulent actions
(4) Acts that infringe upon or could infringe upon the copyrights, intellectual property rights, portrait rights, privacy rights, or the rights of JARI or others
(5) Acts that could damage the reputation, credibility, or trust of JARI or others
(6) Acts that disadvantage or damage JARI or others
(7) Acts that slander JARI or others
(8) Acts that disclose the personal information of others
(9) Acts of impersonation, such as using the name of another person, company, or organization
(10) Doing business at the Event or acts for commercial purposes or preparing for such
(11) Political, electoral, or religious activities at the Event
(12) Acts that impede the operation of the Event
(13) Any other acts that JARI determines are inappropriate in the context of the event
[Disclaimer]
・When applying for the Event, all applicants must do so on their own discretion and responsibility, and excluding cases of intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence on the part of JARI, JARI shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any damages incurred by the applicant due to applying for the Event. Even in cases of intentional wrongdoing or gross negligence on the part of JARI, obligation for compensation shall be limited to direct, ordinary, and actual damages.
・JARI shall bear no responsibility whatsoever for any damages incurred by changing, interrupting, canceling, or ending the Event in whole or in part for the following reasons:
(1) When an emergency occurs, such as fire, power outage, or poor communication conditions
(2) When a natural disaster such as an earthquake, volcanic eruption, flood, or tsunami, spread of infectious disease, public unrest, or labor dispute occurs, or upon orders from government agencies
(3) When JARI determines that it is difficult to hold or continue the Event
[Personal Information Handling]
・Provided personal information will be used for communications necessary for Event participation, to properly respond to inquiries, and for statistical purposes that do not identify the individual. It will not be used for any other purposes. Once the Event is over, personal information will be disposed of appropriately after a certain period of time has passed.
・Personal information will not be disclosed or provided to third parties other than subcontractors without the permission of the individual (excluding situations where disclosure or provision is required by law).

[Governing Laws and Court of Jurisdiction]
Japanese law applies to this Event and items pertaining to these Terms. Any disputes regarding the Event shall be handled in the exclusive court of first instance at the Tokyo District Court.
